Made In Pennsylvania
Built by Us, Not a Big Factory
We actually make this stuff.
Every bag, pouch, and pack that leaves our shop was cut, sewn, and inspected by a real person on our team in Waynesburg, PA. No overseas factories. No middlemen. Just a small crew who gives a damn about the gear they put their name on.
When something goes wrong, and in the outdoors, sometimes it does, we fix it. Free. For five years. Even if you messed it up yourself. Even if you already tried to fix it. We'll sort it out.

Do you even hike bro?
Ultralight Gear, Built By Hikers
Designed on the trail. Not in a boardroom.
Ben & Tim are our in-house gear testers. We've been soaked, overpacked, and on mile 18 wishing we'd made better gear decisions. That experience shapes every product we build.
We use the same premium ultralight fabrics as the big names, Ecopak, D50T Dyneema, X-Pac, Ultra, and more, because weight matters and so does durability. The difference is we'll actually answer when you have a question about it.

This is where it gets fun
Custom Printing
Now make it yours.
Your dog. Your trail name. Your kid's drawing. A photo from the summit. We can print it on almost anything we make — and it still weighs practically nothing.
We're the only ultralight gear company doing custom printing at this level. It started as a cool idea in Ben's basement in 2019. It's still what makes us different.

We Know Where We Came From
Started in a basement. Still made the same way.
In 2019, Ben McMillen posted a photo of a custom food bag he'd sewn himself. The internet responded. Ben talked his daughters into joining the effort and Hilltop Packs was born.
We've grown a lot since then, new space, bigger team, gear shipping worldwide, but the way we work hasn't changed. Same family vibe. Same care. Same Waynesburg, PA zip code.
