This is perfect for carrying my personal items in my pack. Light weight and easy to open without the zipper getting stuck. So happy with all of hilltops products. They always come through with good quality products.
Great accessory for biology field work and backpacking
This pouch has been a great addition to my continued advance to a more convenient and organized gear organization in the backcountry, including field work and backpacking. Repeatedly taking off my bag to access things is very annoying and being able to store them conveniently on my shoulder strap is a big advantage. Though I haven't yet tested the pouch during intense rain, I will soon. Since I usually have certain electronics I don't frequently use protected in waterproof containers in my bag, this gives me the freedom to throw my phone into the pouch very quickly without taking off my pack. This coupled with a dyneema **** pack has really helped keep my pants/shorts pockets uncluttered while having things more handy than in a section of my bag where I need to take it off. Last thing I'll compliment is this thing is BIG. I could probably fit my phone, wallet, keys and more inside.
