I’ve put several weekends on the Hilltop packs Dirty 30 EPLX200 pack. Ben said the main compartment is about 33 litres ? Under estimated as usual, I can pack everything in that I normally put in a 50 litre Waymark pack. Not sure on the side pocket cord pulls as they can slip after tightening, but standard cord locks are no better. Maybe elastic cord would improve this ? Also the cut of the pockets would be more functional without the pleating. Like the ones on the Raven pack, so I find myself checking Nothing has fallen out when on the trail. Made from EPLX200 Ecopack fabric it feels tough, flexible and water proof fabric. Well padded shoulder straps with load lifters and the addition of a Minimalist padded hip belt, has made it possible to carry 20-25Lb comfortably. The bottom pocket is handy for my pack rain cover and gloves. The front open mesh pocket swallows my rain gear, first aid and other accessory’s I may need in a hurry. With the sit pad fastened on rear elastic strap it serves to reduce a sweaty back. Now we are into the shoulder season I’m packing warmer bulkier gear, but it’s still taking everything for a backpacking or hammock camping weekend trip.
A pack I hope to have many years of adventures with.
