I ordered two, but I plan on grabbing more at another time. These hangers work as intended. As backpackers buying from a backpacking company, we all likely know what our packs weigh, so staying within the weight limit for these hangers is pretty easy.

I tried posting a photo for the review, but upon trying to post one photo I'd gotten an error stating the upload took too long and I should upload only one at a time. (the upload was only taking about 2 seconds to reach 99% completion before the error and was indeed only one photo)

Anyway, each of my packs are in the range of 10-15 lbs that I have hanging from these hangers and I have zero concerns about the hangers failing.

These are dense and sturdy little tools that keeps the backpacking gear obsession stay organized. I started with two just to see if I would like them first and I do - so I'll definitely be grabbing more down the road.

I did need to cinch the shoulder straps tight to be able to hang the packs, but beyond that, while they are not difficult to take off the hangers, accidentally knocking packs off of them is not likely. Possible? Of course - it's a hanger, but you'd have to be pretty gruff to make that happen.

The one thing I'd note is making sure the rack or dowel used to hang the packs is capable of holding the weight of the packs.

But now my gear closet has packs that are ready for adventure that are easy to grab and go. No more digging through the pile of packs at the bottom of the closet to grab the one I'm looking for.

I got the medium and small pouchs. The quality is top notch. I'm using the medium pouch for my electronics, it holds my battery bank, charging cords, headlamp & thermometer and that's about it. The small pouch will hold my toothbrush & toothpaste, dental floss, container for my meds & a roll of Rolaids. I also ordered a sack for my cook pot it works great. Hilltop crew thank you very much.

This item is well made, very light, and durable. Great for packing camp food. I like the transparency of the material so I can see what’s inside.

Works very well! The opening is large enough to allow easy placement of items and the depth is very good. The shoulder strap is wide enough to fit comfortably over shoulder, and the handle on the bottom is very useful. I take a one hour walk through my neighborhood urban trails every day and pick up trash along the way. It is a great bag, very useful, and excellent for this 78 year old man. Overall Five Star Excellent Rating!

Purchased the 24/7 pack from hilltop packs. Wanted a pack that I could travel with and use day to day to pack my laptop as well as be able to take a short day hike if I wanted. I always take a pack when I travel to Colorado because I pack my laptop and I also use it to trek around town or take a quick hike in the mountains. This pack is versatile enough to handle it and large enough to carry the gear I need on a day hike or travel day. Well built by great people in our small town of Waynesburg PA! Great job hilltop packs on this one!

Only thing missing is a loop to put over the excess length. Tenpted to cut it off, but nice to have it in case it’s needed.

Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack: My New Favorite Hiking Buddy

I never thought I’d be the kind of person to geek out over a **** pack, but here we are. The Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack has completely changed my hiking game, and I’m honestly wondering how I ever hit the trail without it.

First off, the roll-top closure is a genius move. It keeps everything secure, adds a bit of extra water resistance, and lets me adjust the size based on what I’m carrying. Whether it’s crammed full of snacks and extra layers or just holding my essentials, it always feels just right.

Speaking of essentials—this thing is a lifesaver. I love having quick access to my mittens, gloves, hat, snacks, headlamp, and water filter without having to dig through my backpack. When the temps start dropping, boom—mittens are right there. Need a quick snack? No more stopping to rummage through my pack. And my headlamp? Always easy to grab when the sun dips faster than expected.

Comfort-wise, the adjustable strap fits well, and I hardly notice it while I’m hiking. The material is lightweight but super durable—exactly what I want in a piece of gear that’s going to get a lot of use.

Bottom line: If you’re on the fence about a **** pack for hiking, just go for it. The Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack keeps my must-haves right where I need them, saves me time on the trail, and—bonus—it looks pretty cool too. I’m officially a **** pack convert!

Very well made! I wish I would have bought a larger one. But of course I didn't pay attention to the sizes. I do wish the were set next to something maybe a hand for scale.

Was looking for a belt that would be quick release, not overly large, and easy to refasten. This was the ticket. As a woman in her 60s, getting a belt released fast is kind of imperative, or accidents may happen. Traditional buckles take way too long to get undone, but this buckle is like backpack hardware so real easy to get out of. I love the look as well. The belt is thin and doesn't cause discomfort with a backpack hip belt. Love it!

Excellent quality, light weight, durable and water proof. Using it to keep essentials dry in my pack while ski touring.

So handy to keep my backpack organized. The pouches weigh close to nothing and have fun prints. Costumes print stuff is also super awesome. This is my third purchase from hilltop packs ( 5th if you count the 2 PCT bear bag hanging method bones) very happy with all my purchases

I have an orange cord winder which I have been using. When I saw the Glow in the Dark cord winder, I bought it so I could find my bear bag much easier. I really like how light it is and fits in the rock throw bag for storage.
