Challenge D50T fabric
- Challenge DTRS75 Fabric is being replaced with Challenge D50T fabric.
- D50T fabric has a stronger and more durable waterproof lamination than DTRS75. it's also a quieter fabric as well.
- D50T is very comparable in weight to 1.43 Dyneema. With an abrasion layer on the outside and an improved waterproofing layer on the inside.
- From the same company that makes ECOPACK and ULTRA fabrics. These bags are perfect for ultralight backpacking.
- All dry bags include taped seams for increased weather resistance keeping your clothes, quilts and other valuable items dry on the trail. With a proper roll down they are virtually waterproof.
Challenge D50T fabric vs Dyneema fabric
- While Dyneema may technically be stronger it's also a lot more expensive. For applications like dry bags and stuff sacks D50T is the perfect balance of weight savings and cost savings.
