WEATHER RESISTANCE
- Made from 1.0oz or 1.43oz thickness Dyneema® these hiking gear bags are perfect for ultralight backpacking. All include taped seams for increased weather resistance keeping your clothes, quilts and other valuable items dry on the trail.
- Ultralight backpacking gear for thru hiking, camping & backpacking.
COLOR OPTIONS
- Color will be either Gray or Semi Clear depending on supply at this time. We apologize for this but Dyneema inventory has had supply issues again.
THICKNESS OPTIONS
- The 1.0oz Dyneema® (DCF) is a perfect option for carrying lighter items such as clothes, med kits or hygiene items inside your backpack. For electronics and heavier items upgrade to the 1.43oz Dyneema®.
- The 1.43oz option is also ideal for external carry on the outside of your pack such is in the mesh front pocket or side pockets.

Love my new backpack !! It’s everything I hoped for, well worth the wait.
I have always used compactor bags and feared a simple tear on the trail would compromise my quilt in an unexpected rainstorm. In the Uinta mountains in Utah, the only time to hike is also monsoon season so daily storms are the expectation, not the norm. This bag is lighter than the compactor bag and adds more protection.

I purchased this dry sack to pack my tent in. It fits perfectly and works as a super easy pack. I wanted something to manage the water when I have no choice but to pack the tent wet.
Thankfully, I haven’t used it in those conditions just yet - but I have no doubt this is exactly what I was hoping for

I can’t remember how I found the Hilltop Packs site, but after I did my pack got lighter and more rain proof. So win win and after retirement a lightweight and waterproof pack is huge. It’s a nice feeling stepping out on a long trail knowing you can count on your equipment..
