Fantastic item, very well made

I replaced a dyneema rock throw bag with this ecopak bag. The dyneema bag didn’t hold up well and developed numerous holes in a short period of time. The ecopak bag, although heavier by a slight margin, is more rugged and able to take a greater pounding. These bags are definitely worth considering and I would recommend them to others.

Very durable feeling material. I'm sure this rock bag will be the last one I'll ever have to buy.

Stout material, should last years. Could be improved by sewing a small loop somewhere so there is an attachment point for the string.

Its a rock sack. very durable for what it is

It's a rock throw bag and it's tough. It will hold your Hilltop Winder with 50 feet of Notch Brand rope then without any problem pack away in your food bag for use when needed.

I bought a dyneema version from a competitor and two days later noticed that it already had holes in it. This was the replacement and it is clearly SO much stronger and more durable for a weight difference of practically nothing. I bought the food bag with it, and it’s the same situation.

Got the yellow as well as the food bag with spoon stash. Both are high quality products and worked out great on my first trip and Hilltop really came through for me in a pinch to get the items delivered to me prior to my outing. Thanks Hilltop. Customer for life.

I purchased the orange bag. It's so easy to see and it seems much more durable than the previous throw bag I had. I used it this past weekend and it was perfect. Bonus: I also purchased the cord winder and it fits in the sack for traveling purposes. Love it!

Not only is this bag exactly the right size, but the orange color is spectacularly bright. You definitely won't lose this one in the trees.

Terribly pricey for just a bag.

Got this with the Ecopack Bear bag. Have both the Dyneema version and the Ecopack version of the bear bag and rock sack. This is by far a much more durable throw bag than the Dyneema version. The Dyneema version got cuts in it after a few uses with rough rocks. Ecopack is by far better environmentally and for longevity. Great rock sack Hilltop Packs!!

Quality little product. Light, durable, and well made. A little stiff at the draw string when first getting it in the mail, but after a few tosses over the tree, it becomes easy to put the string together

It is small, tough, light (until you put a rock or two in it) and efficient, all you could ask of a rock bag. I do not believe it can be improved upon, unless you have Hilltop Packs print my smiling face on it. I bet they would too, if you ask nicely and have a photo of me.

The material, color, and construction of these things is incredible. I bought mine separately from the main bear bag I bought with it. Seems like it will hold up to years of throwing it over tree branches.
