Hey, Bryce has one, why can't I?

First off, I am anti **** pack. I am really anti **** pack. I hate them. Seems like they are fashionable these days with the kids. I saw Bryce Newbold review this **** pack on his channel and I had second thoughts. As you can see from the pictures, it's not a traditional pack. The roll top is awesome. This pack holds A LOT! Now, what do I use it for? This pack holds all the fishing gear, minus the rod and reel, I take on the trail or during a day hike. I only wear this pack when fishing and usually pack it away in my backpack when hiking. But if there will be no fishing on a trip or day hike, I will utilize it in a traditional way to hold my keys, wallet, medications, and spare glasses. There is plenty of room to spare. The quality of this pack is awesome, much like all of HP's products. Having the ability to wear it across your chest is a great option also. I would highly recommend this pack from HP.

      Different but Better!!

I've handled several of the other brands and decided to try the roll top instead and I'm glad I did. It's got a real connection system for adding it to your pack and not that hard to use "pass-through" system. You can carry a little or a lot as needed without changing anything. The buckles fit the hiker belt so you don't have to carry an extra strap to use it off pack if you wear the hiker belt. Access is very easy and can be done one handed every time unlike wrestling with a zipper. The fit and finish right out of the package is outstanding. It takes a bit of getting used to if you want to cross chest carry it and the roll top is awkward, but not a huge deal. I'm very satisfied with this and would recommend this as an option for anyone.

      well equiped and appropriate

I have a number of roll top **** packs to carry my on-trail consumables (bug dope, sun screen, snacks, gloves, hat, ...
This allows me to minimize wasted time taking my pack on and off. Plus it balances out the weight and organizes things. This one is supplied with three ways to attach/use it: as a separate belted unit, clipping it onto the pack, or integrating it into the existing pack belt. I was able to swap out my pack belt for this unit. As such, it is fully attached and cannot be left behind. This unit is larger than most, which is what you need. For my winter and longer distance backpacking, I actually prefer 6 litre size ( as winter gloves, bear horn, etc... take up more space ), but fannys that size are hard to find. Hilltop's is good quality.

Perfect size no matter what you put in it

I love this **** pack. It can carry a lot or a little. No more zippers to deal with. What I really like is that I can fasten it on the side rather than the back. After having shoulder surgery, I cannot reach around my back any longer. The folks at Hilltop must have known some of us couldn't, and they gave us strap options! Thank you, Hilltop Packs; everything I've ordered is top-notch!

Never thought i'd use a **** pack. Now, i'll never do a trip without it.
