Just finished the SF2T plaza to plaza hike in eight days. The bag performed like an absolute legend!!! It had plenty of space for food for the entire hike and then some! Durable, lightweight, spacious and a flat bottom are key ingredients in a food bag. I’ll probably get the lady one as well. Cheers, guys! Keep making solid products and we’ll keep walking!
Held enough food for my son and I on a 2 night/3 day trip with room to spare. It even survived a Rocky Mountain wind storm hung in a tree with no problems.
Exactly what I wanted and needed
I used this roll top bag on an extended day hike in the badlands of North Dakota. I didn't have to worry about food cache invaders, and there were no trees to hang it from anyway. That being considered, it performed well and I appreciated how light this bag is, and it held up good. My one recommendation that I would like to see, is a flexible band stitched into the opening of the bag to help keep it closed when rolled. The material is slick and doesn't stay closed unless rolled multiple times, which limits storage capacity.

Replaced an older, well used bag with this one. Had delamination problems with one of my Hilltop bear bags and Ben was so kind and quick to respond with a credit for a new bag. nicely made in america bags. the only problem i had was it took nine days before my in stock order shipped. that being said, i am very happy with the product and look forward to years of use.
Bought the large Ultralight Roll Top Bag and it worked out very well. It was very light weight and held 4 Mountain House meals and snacks with plenty of room for more. I’m guessing it would fit at least 10 dehydrated meal packs with room to roll. I also hung it from a tree with the built in loop with ease. Overall a great purchase.
Couldn’t decide on the size and went with the large. It is large indeed! Should have pulled out the tape measure. Either way, it’s nice having a sack that can hold everyone’s food so only one sack goes up the tree (or would work for an extended trip). Looped a carabiner in and the bag worked great! No complaints.
