Food Bags w/ Custom Printing (Challenge D50T ultralight fabric) Bear Bag

So far so good! The custom photo/logo dry bags & food bags are wonderful. I was not sure on what size to get, so I diversified. I decided on 1 Large food bag with the flat bottom, 1 large dry bag, & 1 medium dry bag. After receiving them in the mail after about a week, my initial impressions are that the quality is top notch. The custom color printing on the bag turned out amazing and detailed. The snap and buckle system at the top gives a couple options for closure of the bags. The stitching and fabric are high quality and very lightweight. The watertightness worked well on my last trip in the rain too. As it is late in the backpacking season with the onset of winter coming soon, I have only been able to use them a couple of times on my adventures. They have been functioning well and look great! So far so good. I will be using and testing these bags out in various capacities and gear storage options on all my future adventures & YT videos.
Now for a couple of thoughts for those who may be looking to purchase. Which size do I get was the big question for me. I initially thought a "large bear bag with flat bottom" would be great for my food but it is too large for my needs as a food bag for my weekend type trips. However, it would work great for my multiday adventures where I need meals for several days. In the meantime, I will repurpose this bag for clothing, sleeping bag, or other storage needs. The "large dry bag" turned out to be the perfect size for me for my food bag for 2 or 3 day trips. Plus this size is a good universal size for many types of gear storage, clothing, etc. Lastly, the "medium dry bag" is a good size for the smaller items like electronics, bathroom kit, cook kit, and many other items that do not need much space but need to be compartmentalized and to stay dry. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the bags that I have and will likely purchase the small dry bags and additional medium dry bags for the rest of my backpacking gear. I like to compartmentalize all my backpacking gear before packing it in my backpack. These bags will work great for my me. Can't wait to get back on the trail for more adventures using these bags. Had a food storage bag made for my backpacking partner. He makes all of our meals on the trail using his freeze dryer. One thing every hiker learns fast: nature calls, and sometimes it’s not just the sound of the wind in the trees. That’s why I’ve been testing out an ultra-lightweight hiking trowel. At almost no weight, it vanishes in the pack until it’s time to, ahem, dig deep. Strong, efficient, and makes the whole “business” of Leave No Trace a little less crappy. 💩

On top of that, I just picked up two custom bags that I’m absolutely loving. One’s a regular gear bag featuring my channel logo alongside an AI-generated design—super cool to see my brand worked right into my kit. The other is a custom dry bag I’ve been using to carry all my GoPro batteries, charge blocks, and a snake’s nest of charging cables. It keeps everything safe, dry, and organized, which means less fumbling and more filming out on the trail.

Between the featherlight trowel and the customized storage, I feel like I’ve finally got my trail kit dialed in. Lightweight, functional, and just the right touch of personality.
