Throw Rope 50 Feet 2.2mm (Notch Brand)

Super pleased with my new products from Hilltop. I had my dog’s picture placed on several items, so I can take her with on my AT through hike. I am leaving her behind, which will be the hardest part of my journey. At least I can see her every day on my food bag, fleece towel and tent door mat. I haven’t had time to use anything yet, but the quality is really nice.

Great rope, very lightweight. The color rubs off easily though and gets on your hands/gear. Doesn't seem to permanently stain, so not a big deal, but color does rub off.

I have purchased this throw rope a number of times from Hilltop Packs. This throw rope is strong, doesn't appear to stretch, and has an oval configuration and a slick surface that, unlike standard paracord, allows it to more easily slide over limbs without digging in. The only nit I have with the rope is it can be a PIA to wind up as it wants to tangle due to its oval shape. This is a minor nit that does not preclude me from recommending this throw rope and certainly has not dissuaded me from repeatedly purchasing it.

I bought this, along with a new rock bag and some carabiners from the bargain bin, and I couldn't be happier! The bag and the rope are great! Slick but strong rope for hanging my bear bag, and the rock bag is honestly just what I was looking for to replace the one I loved (from another more pricey cottage company) that my younger brother tossed into the overstory during our last trip. The new bag and rope are both bright orange, which is kind of fun, and more importantly both weigh nothing but are somehow strong as hell, which is great when you're filling it with rocks and purposely throwing that stuff at trees in the dark!

This appears to be a great product, but I won’t know for sure until I go on my hike this summer. As a side note, I mistakenly ordered this item twice, so I am returning this one.

Used this on my last hike for the first time. Really makes it easy to hang your hilltop packs food bag. Highly recommend!!!

You did awesome job on the custom print on my food bag I’m looking forward to getting out and using it on my next backpacking trip. if you’re uncertain about whether or not to do a custom print and how it will turn out, I say go for it cause they do a great job I couldn’t ask for anything better than what they did came out very nice when I expected..

havent taken it out yet but the bag feels well made, the print looks great, and the small easily fits 3 days worth for me! Cheers!

I bought this to hang my bear bag. Works great. Tangles less than the line i was using before and easily slides over branches without snagging. I ended up using 6' of it as a guyline for the head end of my Nemo Hornet 2P when the original guyline got so tangled that I didn't feel like messing with. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Notch Brand, I bought it not only for the tangle resistance but as a multiply use very light weight rope that has a 650 lb. strength which could be of help in a dire situation out there.

I find this to be easier to deal with this throw line because it does not tangle. I have used the dyneema throw line, but it tangles so easily. I am thinking of buying another one because I hike into areas that threes do not have long limbs so a two-three method can work.

I highly recommend this rope! Doesn’t tangle and is easy to work with when hanging food bags. We recently bought another one for a friend.
