    Customer service is outstanding.

I really like this fannypack it came with hardware that allowed it to be clipped on my waist belt so now I dont have two belts. The roll top and snap are super convenient to use even when on the move. 10/10 all the way around, they even expedited my small purchase and I really appreciated it.

    I LOVE this piece!

I wear it as a sling or cross body bag on my dayhikes. I carry what is important for me on a dayhike and my husband carries the main essentials for both of us in his daypack. I absolutely LOVE it! It's comfortable and it's the perfect size! It's a game changer! It's one of my favorite pieces of gear!

    Best Fannypack, used daily

The snap with a roll top works perfectly. When I am seated I will sort through my items and use the snap until I am done. You can pack a water bottle vertically and roll the top around it. I use it for my camera, glasses, money, keys, food, ID. When empty it weighs very little and you can roll it down to nearly the width of the strap. Smart design.

    **** pack

I like my **** pack. I’m trying it out on my next trip.New Mexico,California. Then back to New Mexico and through Colorado for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Wondering if the the bag will soften and quiet down once it’s used a lot more?

Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack: My New Favorite Hiking Buddy

I never thought I’d be the kind of person to geek out over a **** pack, but here we are. The Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack has completely changed my hiking game, and I’m honestly wondering how I ever hit the trail without it.

First off, the roll-top closure is a genius move. It keeps everything secure, adds a bit of extra water resistance, and lets me adjust the size based on what I’m carrying. Whether it’s crammed full of snacks and extra layers or just holding my essentials, it always feels just right.

Speaking of essentials—this thing is a lifesaver. I love having quick access to my mittens, gloves, hat, snacks, headlamp, and water filter without having to dig through my backpack. When the temps start dropping, boom—mittens are right there. Need a quick snack? No more stopping to rummage through my pack. And my headlamp? Always easy to grab when the sun dips faster than expected.

Comfort-wise, the adjustable strap fits well, and I hardly notice it while I’m hiking. The material is lightweight but super durable—exactly what I want in a piece of gear that’s going to get a lot of use.

Bottom line: If you’re on the fence about a **** pack for hiking, just go for it. The Hilltop Packs Roll-Top **** Pack keeps my must-haves right where I need them, saves me time on the trail, and—bonus—it looks pretty cool too. I’m officially a **** pack convert!

I'm giving it the golden icicle award!

    Top notch!

High quality… super light and very convenient. First product from HTP and pleased with the fine craftsmanship, the communication, and that it is a local business that employs community. Well done.

    Roll Top Fanny Pack

I ordered this to be the waistbelt for my new Raven UL Pack. It is a very well-designed and constructed product. The volume is perfect for my use (snacks, phone, headlamp etc.) and with the roll top design it is rain proof.

    Really handy.

So far I have used this pack snowshoeing and I really liked the easy access to items and having a place to put some cocoa, snacks, small dog bowl, hat etc. Small enough to find stuff but big enough for a good stash. Was smaller than I pictured in my head, check the measurements for your use, but I love it. I also like that stuff is unlikely to fall out when opened, unlike some zippered designs.

Perfect addition to my backpacking kit.

This **** pack is something I didn’t realize I needed, but since I have it, I can’t imagine not hiking with it.
It allows for great organization and keeps a few things handy without having to take off my pack.

    **** pack/bum bag and pouches

I ordered a **** pack and several pouches for my gear. Hilltop Packs let me know right away that they had to be made, and it might take a couple of weeks. My exceptionally well-made items showed up early. Hilltop Packs are very responsive, keep you informed, and provide a high-quality product. Next for me is to replace my 40-year-old Gregory backpack.

    Top Quality

New to waist packs, this is the first one I have tried. Mostly because of the adjustability. I like the ability to use for a few items, or many. The construction and design are Awesome!! Can’t wait to get it in the woods!!

    It works!

I haven't had the chance to hike with it yet but that will happen soon enough. I replaced the removable belt of my GG Kumo 36 with it. It tied in nicely.

I just started wearing a **** pack this past hiking season to lessen the load on my back with items I use often as well as my emergency kit (so that I always have it on me). The problem was that the bags out there were either (a) too small to carry what I wanted to carry or (b) too cumbersome and bulky with a ton of additional weight in pockets and zippers.

So, when I came across this "****" from Hilltop Packs, I was intrigued. Would the material hold up? Would a simple rolltop enclosure be functional on the move? Would it look ridiculous?

I'm happy to report that all of the above are true ... even maybe looking a little "different" -- but I'll take it because, honestly, it's perfect.

Just carrying your phone and snacks? Well, first of all buy a pack strap for your phone, but if you want it in the ****, just roll it down, baby. Want to use it as a functional hip belt for a little day hike, throw your snacks; sawyer filter, and a water bottle into the thing and roll it down (albeit less cinching).

An additional advantage is that it's really lightweight and waterproof ... which you won't appreciate until you slip on a rock while crossing a stream (which happened). I was wet, but my food and items were not.

It comes with two sets of straps, one for your waist and the other to attach it to your pack. I'll be honest, I haven't tried attaching it to my pack yet. I just made it a part of my load system and wear it above my hip belt -- but you do you, boo boo.

    100% endorsed. Go getcha' one.

    Brutally functional

This replaces a ZPacks multi-pack whose zipper failed after 2 years of hard use, and a much more fashionable hip bag that was just too small. This seems dam4 near perfect functionally, sturdy and versatile. I only wish it came in fabrics that might be less crinkly, or more attractive like say waxed canvas, with webbing that is also more skin friendly (sewn instead of hard-singed edges, for example).

thank you for the awesome review!

Lite for its size, compact when not used

It holds my camera with a telephoto lens quite well, it holds objects quite well, easy to use, when not in use it is very compact, stitching looks excellent and overall, I’m very satisfied

I wasn’t a fan of how low the straps connect in the back, made the pack sort of lean forward off my body, I wasn’t a fan. The snap closure on my black bag was also white. If that doesn’t bother you the pack does seem to be good quality.

We are sorry to hear this did not work out for you. please feel free to return it for a full refund. we want you to be able to use what you paid for

Hey, Bryce has one, why can't I?

First off, I am anti **** pack. I am really anti **** pack. I hate them. Seems like they are fashionable these days with the kids. I saw Bryce Newbold review this **** pack on his channel and I had second thoughts. As you can see from the pictures, it's not a traditional pack. The roll top is awesome. This pack holds A LOT! Now, what do I use it for? This pack holds all the fishing gear, minus the rod and reel, I take on the trail or during a day hike. I only wear this pack when fishing and usually pack it away in my backpack when hiking. But if there will be no fishing on a trip or day hike, I will utilize it in a traditional way to hold my keys, wallet, medications, and spare glasses. There is plenty of room to spare. The quality of this pack is awesome, much like all of HP's products. Having the ability to wear it across your chest is a great option also. I would highly recommend this pack from HP.

    Different but Better!!

I've handled several of the other brands and decided to try the roll top instead and I'm glad I did. It's got a real connection system for adding it to your pack and not that hard to use "pass-through" system. You can carry a little or a lot as needed without changing anything. The buckles fit the hiker belt so you don't have to carry an extra strap to use it off pack if you wear the hiker belt. Access is very easy and can be done one handed every time unlike wrestling with a zipper. The fit and finish right out of the package is outstanding. It takes a bit of getting used to if you want to cross chest carry it and the roll top is awkward, but not a huge deal. I'm very satisfied with this and would recommend this as an option for anyone.

    well equiped and appropriate

I have a number of roll top **** packs to carry my on-trail consumables (bug dope, sun screen, snacks, gloves, hat, ...
This allows me to minimize wasted time taking my pack on and off. Plus it balances out the weight and organizes things. This one is supplied with three ways to attach/use it: as a separate belted unit, clipping it onto the pack, or integrating it into the existing pack belt. I was able to swap out my pack belt for this unit. As such, it is fully attached and cannot be left behind. This unit is larger than most, which is what you need. For my winter and longer distance backpacking, I actually prefer 6 litre size ( as winter gloves, bear horn, etc... take up more space ), but fannys that size are hard to find. Hilltop's is good quality.

Perfect size no matter what you put in it

I love this **** pack. It can carry a lot or a little. No more zippers to deal with. What I really like is that I can fasten it on the side rather than the back. After having shoulder surgery, I cannot reach around my back any longer. The folks at Hilltop must have known some of us couldn't, and they gave us strap options! Thank you, Hilltop Packs; everything I've ordered is top-notch!
