Who is this backpack for?
For those that want a smaller, ultralight, but durable pack choose the 24Seven made of Xpac. Comes with 24 liters internal space, 5 liters in the front pocket, and 0.5 liters in each side pocket for 30 liters total. Great for every day use, day hikes, and backpackers who really have their gear dialed in.

This is my third Hilltop pack. As my load takes up less space, I have moved from the Raven to Dirty 30 and now the 24/7. The main compartment and rear mesh pocket are as spacious as ever. Unfortunately the side pockets are too small for what I normally carry in my other packs, but at last elasticated pockets🥳 I can still get all my kit, food and fuel in one for a weekend trip during summer backpacking. As with all hilltop pack products, we’ll chosen fabrics, expertly put together and great customer support. Good old Ben even changed the pack colours for me.
This is one sweet backpack! This pack comes in at just the right size for Day Trips, Weekend Get Aways, and I even brought mine along on a Boundary Waters Canoe trip in Northern Minnesota. It became invaluable when I had a short hike from my Hammock to the campfire area to hang out with my buddies. It was very water resistant and I was able to have all my essentials right with me no matter where I wandered off to. Also very durable I dragged it around on the rocks and never had an issue.
I love this backpack, it just needs some elastic strap keepers for the shoulder and sternum straps. Both of these are pretty long and just dangle with no strap keepers. There's one for the single buckle closure on the roll top portion on the bag, I just wish there were some in other places too. Other than that, in my opinion, this is the perfect all day pack. It gives you just enough space for an all day trip, but you'd need to get something bigger for overnight adventures. I'm glad I found this company, and look forward to many adventures with my new pack!
This packs is just awesome!!! Like anything else from Hilltop it is unique and well noticed on trail!!! This packs holds over 30L with outer pockets. I have carrried 25 pounds with the added hipbelt and it was just as comfortable as my framed Arc Haul 60L.
Purchased the 24/7 pack from hilltop packs. Wanted a pack that I could travel with and use day to day to pack my laptop as well as be able to take a short day hike if I wanted. I always take a pack when I travel to Colorado because I pack my laptop and I also use it to trek around town or take a quick hike in the mountains. This pack is versatile enough to handle it and large enough to carry the gear I need on a day hike or travel day. Well built by great people in our small town of Waynesburg PA! Great job hilltop packs on this one!
