Updated for 2026. Ultralight Water Bottle Pouch. Can be mounted to just about any backpack (adapter may be needed see below).

- Easily holds a 750mm & 1 liter size Smart water bottle and others including cnoc Thrubottle (will not hold the Nobo bottle)

Pack has things I was looking for. Removable hip belt, load lifters and capacity. A 40L pack is actually just the main body. The pack fits and rides great. I highly recommend Hilltop Packs. The only thing I learned when ordering is, patience. Lead time can get, let’s say, extended.

This pouch has everything I need for carrying my water bottle. It works with various sizes, attaching the carrier was simple, and the web pouch on the front adds a little extra for convenience.
Wasn’t sure if I was going to like the bottle holder on the strap, but I definitely love it! The net pocket it also great for holding my phone or anything else I want to put away and grab quickly! Great quality item!

This bottle holder should be on everyone’s bag. It was one of the few new gear pieces that ended up be as good or better than I thought it would be. It honestly made my life easier and better. Best part was my wife was instantly jealous and worst part is now I need to buy ne an another cuz she “borrowed” it and has no plans to give it back.
I purchased this pouch along with their roll top cell phone pouch which I just reviewed. This is my first shoulder strap water bottle pouch so I don't have anything to compare it to. The craftsmanship is great and design is good. However there are two design flaws that I had to fix. The first was with the velcro attachment strap on the back- it's very adjustable however, with a full bottle inside, when you bend over the hook and loop is not strong enough to hold the two straps together - the bottom half detaches. I was able to fix that by adding an adhesive back Velcro strap perpendicular to the bottom which wraps around the mating velcro strap and anchors both in place. Now, no matter how I move, it stays put. The other flaw has to do with water drainage. This pouch is an open top and there are no drain holes on the bottom. Rain will collect in the pouch until it manages to seep out through the seams. I got a soldering iron and burned a couple of holes in the bottom to allow water to escape much faster.
Perfect pouch for my smartwater bottle. Easily attaches to my shoulder strap and stays secure. Very lightweight! Perfect!
