Dirt Diggler Backpacking Trowel | Ultralight Cathole Tool

This trowel with both form and function was engineered so well I'd swear Elon Musk must have had a hand in it's development. I know look forward to mornings on trail just so I get the opportunity to hold a true engineering marvel in my hand. This is the first poo trowel that I carry on the outside of my pack. Not because it has any sharp edges and I fear damage to my other gear. No, I carry it outside to so that other hikers know that my cat hole game is way superior to their own.

Small light and mighty

Dirt Diggler Trowel (ultralight)

Nice item

Works well - both ends dig well! Sturdy lil’ bugger!

I love everything these guys make. This time, I got a whistle, tick remover, flip fuel, dirt diggler, and another dogbone

Your trowel makes it so easy to dig; it doesn’t “dig” into my hands!

Super light and functional!

I called because I was changing my hike start date. Hilltop helped get my gear to me ahead of schedule. The items ordered also function very well and seem very durable and functional.

Works great! I appreciate that I don't have to worry that the rounded end will poke through my gear and is sturdier than the lightweight aluminum trowel I had been using.

Works as described, very well made, light weight, and sturdy. Light enough to take along for any outdoor adventure. Would recommend.

I don’t expect a ton from a trowel, it should be light and do the job; the diggler does exactly that! It’s light enough to forget it’s there and strong enough to dig to china if you have the time. Great piece.

The trowel is so light it practically floats! Fits perfectly in my hand! What incredible design!

This is a great little trowel. I opted for the smaller one to keep in my running pack. It's a super duper **** hole digger

Digs a hole for poo without cutting into your hands.

Would you consider punching a small hole in the middle on the long end towards the tip? It would make it possible to string a line through it for hanging it on the outside of packs.

Ultralight, sturdy design , gets the job done with no sharp edges to damage my pack

Excellent customer service. Shipped to me over here in the UK with no issues. I look forward to using it! 😁

Love The Dirt Diggler it’s a game changer! I had a basic trowel and sometimes was hard to dig in the hard ground. Used the Dirt Diggler in a recent backpacking trip and we have had several weeks of dry conditions where the ground was hard and rocky but had not problem with it! Strong and sturdy trowel.

One thing I didn’t like about my deuce of spades trowel I had was the fact it felt like it cut into my hands. The nice rounded curves and thicker build to the dirt digger feels so much better. As far as weight goes, there’s basically no difference in comparison to my old trowel, so switching is a no brainer. Best part though, is it’s made in America by an awesome cottage company.

It digs holes and it's made in the USA. What more could you want
