I was a little skeptical about using the roll top **** pack for backpacking but it only took one outing to convince me that I won't go without it on future trips. Love the quick and easy access to snacks and gear - the ability to access things without taking my backpack off and rummaging through it. So far I have used it for all the snacks for the day, rain gear and a small first aid kit but I think the list of **** pack items will evolve as I use it on more backpacking trips. Highly recommended!
