Stuff Sacks Ultralight (Challenge D50T fabric)

Stuff Sacks

These ultralight drawstring stuff sacks are built with the lightest available Challenge fabric called D50T. Seams are taped for increased weather resistance. The only place water can enter is through the small cinch top enclosure. For better weather resistance use our dry bags. Stuff sacks are great when used correctly because they compress down inside your pack allowing air to leave through the cinch top. Dry bags hold their air and take up more space. It's a trade off.

    Challenge D50T fabric

    • Challenge DTRS75 Fabric is being replaced with Challenge D50T fabric.
    • D50T fabric has a stronger and more durable waterproof lamination than DTRS75. it's also a quieter fabric as well.
    • D50T is very comparable in weight to 1.43 Dyneema. With an abrasion layer on the outside and an improved waterproofing layer on the inside.
    • From the same company that makes ECOPACK and ULTRA fabrics. These bags are perfect for ultralight backpacking.
    • All stuff sacks include taped seams for increased weather resistance keeping your clothes, quilts and other valuable items dry on the trail.

Challenge D50T fabric vs Dyneema fabric

    • While Dyneema may technically be stronger it's also a lot more expensive. For applications like dry bags and stuff sacks D50T is the perfect balance of weight savings and cost savings.

      Love these products!

Both the stuff sacks and zippered bags I received are top quality and don't feel cheap at all. I'm excited for the chair stuff sack and a few others I ordered! The only drawback was that they didn't have larger zippered bags. And maybe vertically tall ones compared to the horizontal ones. Great quality!

Second time ordering from them. Quality seems great and the bags fit my needs. Can’t wait to get them out on the trail.

      Great, Exactly what I needed!

I got the variety pack for my upcoming CT attempt in July 22. I am really impressed with how light, water tight and packable these bags are!
